Iben Khenti knew he was an alpha by the time he learned to walk. He was one of the strongest and most powerful alphas to ever be born. “The short version is that, for me, this is a werewolf book with a difference that made me smile, as well as follow the developments with great interest. The main characters couldn’t have been more different, and I really liked that the alpha defied all the preconceived notions present in so many other books in this genre. As for the plotline, that was pretty "standard – new alpha comes in to take over pack in trouble", but adding the character differences and somewhat unusual internal conflicts made this a very enjoyable read for me...
